A PROMISE FROM THOMAS Based on ‘A Thomas Promise’ by Rick Suvalle Adapted by M. W. Gamble Thomas the Tank Engine was at the junction, resting in the siding and was feeling very pleased with himself. He had shunted all the trucks in the right place and was enjoying a long drink, when Gordon the Big Engine arrived, feeling very cross. Recently, he had been punished by the Fat Controller and had to pull trucks for a whole week.
